First established myself as a Country entertainer in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s and turned professional in 1979. At this point I formed the Country Jays.
The Country Jays was very popular Country stage band and entertained audiences throughout Scotland, England and Ireland. The Country Jays had a legion of followers throughout the North of Scotland, who liked their boisterous, fun on-stage nature. The Country Jays enjoyed seven professional years together and recorded two albums, ‘Silver Medals and Sweet Memories’ and ‘The Country Jays’.
In 1986 I ventured on my solo career. My focus expanded to include an Irish as well as Country repertoire.
Over recent years I have broadened my musical focus further to include gospel music.
Throughout my career I have shared a stage with popular American, Canadian and Irish artists including Boxcar Willie, Hank Locklin, Porter Wagner, Joe Firth, Foster and Allen, Big Tom and many other top Irish artists.
I have recorded a number of albums as a solo artist and currently recording my latest album ‘Ashes of Love’ onto DVD.
Having achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a Country entertainer I have now successfully achieved my next dream in life of building my own recording studio. I now record other Artists and helping them to live the dream.
